RULE #1: “EYES ON THE END”
• Always view rotation when you are facing the end of the shaft
RULE #2: “OPPOSITES ATTRACT”
• Rotation of drive shaft and pump shaft will always be opposite.
• Example: A CW PTO shaft requires a CCW pump rotation,while a CCW
gas engine requires a CW pump rotation.
